GitHub OAuth Issues

”GitHub App installation failed”

Cause: Not an organization owner or repository admin, or the organization requires admin approval for apps.

Solution:

  • For personal repos: ensure you’re the repository owner
  • For organization repos: ask an organization owner to install the app, or request admin approval

”No repositories found”

Solution:

  1. In Deployify, go to Repositories“Reconnect GitHub”
  2. On GitHub, select “All repositories” (recommended) or specific repos
  3. Return to Deployify and refresh

”Repository access revoked”

Solution:

  1. Check GitHub Settings → Applications → Deployify
  2. If not listed, reinstall the app
  3. Reconnect in Deployify Repositories page

Shopify OAuth Issues

”Store connection failed”

Solution:

  1. Close the popup and retry
  2. Ensure you’re logged into the correct Shopify store
  3. Clear browser cookies for shopify.com and retry

”Cannot connect additional store” (store doesn’t appear after popup)

Solution:

  1. Enable third-party cookies in browser settings (required for OAuth)
  2. Try an incognito/private window
  3. Verify you haven’t hit your plan’s store limit

”Token expired” or “Session invalid”

Solution:

  1. Go to Stores page
  2. Find the disconnected store
  3. Click “Reconnect” and complete the OAuth flow again

Browser Issues

Look for the blocked popup icon in your browser’s address bar, click it, and select “Always allow popups from this site”, then retry.

Infinite redirect loop

  1. Clear cookies for your store domain, admin.shopify.com, and app.paxsolutions.io
  2. Close all tabs with the app
  3. Reopen from Shopify Admin → Apps

Remove unused stores or upgrade in Plan & Billing.

Revoking Access

From Shopify: Admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels → Deployify → Uninstall

From GitHub: Settings → Applications → Authorized GitHub Apps → Deployify → Revoke
