Support Chat

Overview

Deployify includes a built-in support chat widget powered by a RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) knowledge base and Amazon Bedrock. You can ask questions about any feature, get troubleshooting help, and escalate to a human if needed — without leaving the app.

How It Works

  1. Click the chat bubble icon in the bottom-right corner of any page
  2. Type your question in plain English
  3. The assistant searches the Deployify knowledge base and generates a contextual answer
  4. If confidence is low, the chat automatically creates a support ticket and notifies the team

What You Can Ask

  • “How do I connect a second Shopify store?”
  • “Why did my deployment fail with ‘theme not found’?”
  • “What’s the difference between Content Merge and a direct deploy?”
  • “How do I set up Slack notifications?”
  • “What plan do I need for Store Matrix?”

Escalation

If the assistant isn’t confident in its answer, it will:

  1. Tell you it’s escalating to a human
  2. Create a support ticket with your question and context
  3. Send an alert to the support team

You’ll receive a follow-up at the email associated with your Shopify store.

Privacy

  • Chat messages are stored per-session and associated with your shop domain
  • Message history is used only to improve response quality within your session
  • No chat data is shared with third parties
  • Sessions expire and are purged according to our Privacy Policy
