Overview

Deployify is a Shopify app that provides visual workflow automation for theme deployments. Install it from the Shopify App Store to get started.

Installation Steps

1. Visit the Shopify App Store

   • Go to the Deployify listing (or search “Deployify” in your Shopify Admin)

2. Click “Add app”

   • You’ll be redirected to the authorization screen

3. Review permissions

   • The app requires access to:
     • read_themes — to read your current theme files
     • write_themes — to deploy updated themes

4. Authorize the app

   • Click “Install app” to grant permissions

5. Complete setup

   • You’ll be redirected to the Deployify dashboard
   • Follow the welcome wizard to connect your GitHub repository

What happens during installation?

• A tenant record is created in our secure database
• Your Shopify access token is encrypted and stored
• You’re enrolled in the Free plan (upgrade anytime)

Next Steps

After installation, you’ll need to:

1. Connect your GitHub repository
2. Create your first workflow

Troubleshooting

“App installation failed”

• Ensure you’re a store owner or have staff permissions
• Check that your store isn’t in development mode with restricted API access

“Redirect loop” or loading issues

• Clear browser cache and cookies
• Try installing in an incognito/private window
• Contact support if the issue persists
